Mosquito Larvae

On a day of boredom, I saw a bunch of squiggling things living in an open tank of water outside. I figured that they were mosquito larvae.

I had a plastic vial which formerly held candy. I scooped one specimen and added more water.

I kept the creature alive for I-don't-know-how-long. This act would later inspire me to do... other things...

Before I knew it, I finally got a mosquito inside the vial.

Unfortunately, I accidentally flipped the vial and drowned it.
